Join us for a reception and conversation with Will Evans A.M.’12, founder of Deep Vellum, a nonprofit publishing house and literary arts organization based in Dallas, Texas.Evans earned his master’s degree in Russian literature at Duke, where his translation practice of unique texts was born. He went on to found Deep Vellum in 2013, whose mission is to bring the world into conversation through literature. Deep Vellum is the largest publisher of translated literature in the United States. The heart of their work is their literary arts center in Dallas, which operates as both a bookstore and a community space that hosts literary programming.

Registration includes wine and appetizers. Registrants may bring guests.
