About this Event
No jargon. No fluff. Just you, AI, and one shiok afternoon.
You have tried AI by now. It is clever - but it does not actually know you. Not your family, not your recipes, not the pile of documents you can never find. In one afternoon, built with the Ningpo Guild, we show you how to fix that: you will build your own private AI, one that answers questions about your own information, and you will leave knowing how to build another one for whatever matters to you.
Never touched AI before? You are exactly who this is for. If you can use WhatsApp, you are ready.
Wondering if it is too technical? Our co-founder Felicia started out a self-confessed finance-industry "tech dinosaur" who was scared of anything technical. If she can go from that to teaching this, so can you.
What you'll build, and keep
Your own private AI. Load in your family history and clan roots - the names, the dates, the stories - then ask it questions about your own family and watch it answer. It lives in your own Google account, so it is still there on Sunday morning, and you can keep adding to it for years.
The skill to do it again. Point the same method at your treasured recipes, or the insurance policies, warranties and important papers you can never find when you need them. No CPF, no salary, works 24/7.
A feng shui and bazi reading of your home. A fun, familiar subject to practise on - purely cultural and for interest, with no religious element at all.
Event details
When: Saturday, 29 August 2026, 11am-3pm. Four hours in total - three hours of workshop with a sponsored hot lunch in the middle.
Where: Ningpo Guild Singapore, 43 Wilkie Road, Singapore 228056 - a 5-7 min walk from Bras Basah / Bencoolen MRT (10-15 min from Dhoby Ghaut & Bugis).
Bring: your own laptop, its charger, and a free Google account. It is hands-on, so a laptop beats a phone or tablet, and the AI tool we use (Google Gemini) is free.

Good to know
Absolute beginners welcome. If you can type on WhatsApp and open a browser, you're ready. Taught fully bilingually in English and Mandarin, at a comfortable pace.
Adults only, small group. Twenty seats, each with their own laptop and their own project. This one is for the grown-ups - we run separate workshops for children and for grandparent-grandchild pairs.
Plenty of help. A lead trainer and floor assistants on hand, plus a hot lunch together in the middle.
Trusted hands. Run by Empire AI - teaching hands-on tech since 2016, featured in Lianhe Zaobao together with the Ningpo Guild.
