This is the vision behind National Engineers Day (NED) 2026, organised by the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES). 

As IES' annual celebration of the engineering profession, NED honours the invaluable contributions of engineers while inspiring young people to discover the exciting opportunities that engineering has to offer.

• EIC 2026: A cornerstone of NED, this nationwide competition invites students to harness emerging technologies to develop innovative engineering solutions to real-world challenges. Guided by engineers and industry professionals, participants design and build prototypes that shape a more sustainable future. Winning teams will be recognised at the prize presentation ceremony on the final day of NED.
