If this resonates, "Build The New" is the gathering for you. On February 7th, join us for a time of reflection, renewal, and rediscovery of the true identity of the Church — the ekklesia. Together, we’ll explore how the Church was always meant to function from the beginning.
You are invited to this historic gathering in Nanaimo, BC. Rhema Trayner, an apostolic voice, will lead us in a powerful time of returning to the biblical expression of the Church and Christ’s foundational truths.
What is the ekklesia? It is much more than a Greek word that we translate as "church". What exactly did Jesus declare that He would build in Matthew 16? Many believers who are honest with themselves can admit that something isn't working. We aren't producing mature disciples, our priorities are skewed and our organizations look much more like businesses than the family of God. We have ventured quite far from our New Testament foundations in our modern expressions of "church". There must be something possible that's more potent and powerful than what we've fully seen in our day. God is drawing us back to his foundational pattern in purity, without the things that have been added along the way.
The biblical exegesis, revelatory teaching and practical insight that Rhema carries has been processed over nearly a decade of pioneering in the New Wineskin. She will bring keys that bring understanding around why we must change our convictions of what the "church" is, how we measure and cultivate maturity and the shifting required to become the called out assembly that bears His name. We must return to the blueprint of scripture, early church practice and the centrality of Christ and His Kingdom.
