Build Here, Puget Sound! The Game: Pierce County
About this Event
is the Puget Sound Regional Council’s (PSRC) new housing platform designed to provide equitable access to localized housing data and support faster, better-informed decisions across the development community.
Bringing together regional zoning data, a developable land inventory, feasibility analysis, and parcel-level housing projections, the tool empowers practitioners across King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish counties to identify sites, inform policy, and streamline development.
What to Expect:
Whether you are evaluating sites for affordable housing, preparing legislative testimony, or conducting market research, this workshop will help you:
- Learn about the Tool: Learn directly from the tool’s creators how to navigate soft-site filters, zoning overlays, and localized feasibility data.
- Test Real-World Scenarios: Walk through a collaborative tabletop game using real regional data to practice utilizing the tool in housing development.
- Cross-Sector Networking: Build direct working relationships with regional peers, elected officials, local planners, housing staff, and developers.

Venue Accessibility: The event will be held in the City Council Chambers at Puyallup City Hall, located at 333 S. Meridian, 5th Floor, Puyallup, WA 98371.
Internal Pathways: City Hall is ADA accessible. There is an elevator to take you to the 5th floor.
Service Animals: Service animals are welcome.
Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are available and located near the event room.
Plain Language: We strive to use plain language in all our communications and presentations to ensure everyone can understand the information.
Parking and Transportation: Free parking is available in the surface lot behind City Hall or the 1st floor of the parking garage.
Entrance: There is an entrance located on the northwest end of the building facing Meridian St. There is a path from the surface lot to the entrance.
