Build an Eco-Home: 2-day Camp* (Jun)

This Holiday Camp aims to raise awareness of the importance of making our buildings green and sustainable, in order to reduce their negative impact on the environment.

Incorporating Sustainable Building Features

In this hands-on workshop, students will be introduced to various environmentally sustainable building strategies, exploring how homes can be designed to be energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. They will learn about the use of sustainable materials, smart resource management, and techniques to reduce a building’s impact on the planet.

Applying what they’ve learned, students will plan and construct a 3D model prototype of their very own Eco-Home, incorporating green features such as natural lighting, ventilation, and responsible use of space and resources.

This workshop encourages creativity, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship, inspiring students to design for a greener future.

DesignTinkers camps are thoughtfully curated and led by a passionate team of educators, architects and designers with a shared mission: to inspire and empower young minds through design. With extensive experience working with children and teens, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing each student’s creative interests in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. All our camps are held in our spacious and conducive classrooms where students can create and explore freely under guidance.
