A Prayer Bible is a powerful tool designed to help you partner with the Holy Spirit in prayer by organizing and highlighting scriptures that speak directly to your life, family, calling, and God-given assignments. Through the power of God’s Word, you will learn to pray and declare biblical promises over yourself and those you love.
During this hands-on workshop, Kristin will guide you in the process of building the structure of your Prayer Bible. Together, we will creatively organize scriptural promises via the Holy Spirit and learn how to use God’s promises as a framework for effective intercession and declaration.
As you create, you will invite the Holy Spirit to lead you in selecting verses that strengthen your faith, encourage your heart, and equip you to pray with greater confidence and authority. Your Prayer Bible will become a lasting resource that helps you engage with Scripture, deepen your prayer life, and partner with God in bringing His promises into every area of life.
This is a fun, interactive, and faith-building community experience designed to inspire spiritual growth and cultivate a lifestyle of Scripture-based prayer.
Provided supplies include:
- Glue
- Scissors
- Paper cutters
- Scrapbook paper
- Rulers
- Fineliners
Supplies required to be purchased in advance include:
- Compact Bible (for portability; in your preferred translation)
- Tabs (Avery-style ½ inch or 1-inch tabs in assorted colors)
- Highlighters (to coordinate with your tabs)
- Black Felt-Tip Pen or Fineliner (quick-drying and non-bleed)
- Washi Tape (⅜ - ⅝ inch)
- Small family photo to fit inside the front cover of your Bible
- Any additional creative materials needed!
Items helpful to have with you:
- A Bible app on your phone
- Journal
About Kristin Oppold:
Kristin Oppold is a lover of Jesus. She loves and enjoys all things, creative, one of her greatest joys is to bring union to her love of the Lord and creative activities. She believes powerfully that creating with intention and invitation of the Holy Spirit releases joy, deliverance, greater intimacy with God and breakthrough. Her ministry is to gather and incorporate biblical truths into a variety of creative mediums.
Kristin has ministered to many age groups in creative ways, children to adulthood. Making journals, watercolor and anything she can recycle for the Glory of the Lord. She uses her own creative works as prophetic words to encourage others. She has been a worship artist at Dare To Believe Ministries and The House Church. She has been an active member on Hosanna's prayer team and leader in women’s ministry. She is a second-year graduate of Dare to Believe's Emerge Transformation School and an active member on their intercessory prayer team.
