Celebrate National Moth Week with a nighttime insect adventure—UV lights reveal moths and other hidden nocturnal life at Green-Wood.
About this Event

Celebrate National Moth Week with an after-hours exploration of Green-Wood’s nocturnal insects. Using special ultraviolet lights, we’ll attract and observe moths, often called the “jewels of the night,” which far outnumber their day-flying cousins, the butterflies.

As the lights glow, expect an array of other nighttime visitors to appear, including beetles, ants, true bugs, katydids, and more. This unique evening experience offers a rare glimpse into the Cemetery’s biodiversity that comes alive after sunset!

Rain date: Saturday, July 25th
