Buffalo, NY Postpartum Doula & Newborn Care Specialist Training

Birth Beautifully’s Postpartum Doula & Newborn Care Specialist Certification Training is a comprehensive program designed for individuals looking to specialize in postpartum care and newborn support. This in-person, one-day training is preceded by an extensive self-paced online module, which must be completed prior to attending the in-person training session. The online portion provides the foundational knowledge essential for success during the in-person session and in your future career as a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist.

Training Details:

• Hybrid Structure:
  Attendees will complete an online self-paced module prior to attending the in-person session. This portion covers essential topics such as newborn care, postpartum recovery, infant feeding support, and more, giving you a strong knowledge base before the hands-on training day.
• In-Person Training (1 Day):
  After completing the online module, attendees will join the in-person, one-day session in Buffalo, NY, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This full day will review and build upon the online material, focus on hands-on practice, and dive deeper into practical skills, professional ethics, newborn care, and effective postpartum support strategies.
• Certification Requirements:
  To become certified, attendees must complete both the online self-paced module and the in-person training. Additional certification requirements will be provided during the in-person training session. Successful completion of the program will result in certification as a Postpartum Doula & Newborn Care Specialist.
• Course Materials:
  A course manual is required for the training and can be purchased for $40 (not included in the training fee). This manual is an essential resource for the certification process and future client work.
• Breaks & Meals:
  The training includes a one-hour lunch break. Attendees are welcome to bring snacks and refreshments to stay energized throughout the day.
