About this Event
About us:
We are an active walking community with about 12,000 members. We conduct regular walks every Thursday and alternate Saturday/Sunday afternoons. You can also find us at: https://www.meetup.com/i-walk-i-hike-i-eat-i-travel/ We have also been featured in the Straits Times.
Meet: Kovan MRT (NE13) Passenger Service Centre

SPECIAL NOTE:
*** We are trekking through the forest - there will be MUD especially if it rains. You can put on Shoe Covers to avoid mud on your shoes. Please sign up ONLY if you are ok with this! That said, I'd like you to know that there is a clear trail through. No hacking of the forest is required! :-)***

**This is a Rain or Shine event. Please take a good lunch or bring along some snacks if you feel hungry along the way. Our walks are usually between 8 - 12 km long. Just so you know, the weather may be hot but as the sun sets, the weather should be cooler.
Please be punctual. You are encouraged to be slightly early to avoid disappointments. There will be 5 minutes grace for attendance taking. Please remember that we cannot wait because this would be unfair to those already present.
Are you ready to explore some hidden areas from the usual walks? Buangkok Forest offers vegetation so near to civilisation and yet so far!
From a distance, you will see lots of greenery and HDB flats. There are also lots of bird species here. Join us as we trek from Kovan to Punggol through the Buangkok Forest!

- Shoe covers for mud
