Whether you've attended a Brown Bag Book Club meeting or just want to catch a great movie, join us at "Brown Bag @ the Movies!" Each film shown is based on a book, specifically a past selection of the BBBC. You do not have to read the book or prepare for an in-depth discussion!
In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, we'll be watching Bless Me, Ultima (2012) based on the book by Rudolfo Anaya. This drama is set in New Mexico during WWII, and focuses on a young boy's growing awareness of spirituality and destiny, with the guidance of Ultima, a folk healer.
If you are interested in joining the book club, you can register for an upcoming meeting here. Each monthly book discussion is scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month at 12:00 noon, and meets on Zoom.
