THIS IS THE FIRST BRITISH COMBAT SAMBO CHAMPIONSHIPS BEING HELD FOR JUNIORS.
This competition will be held to full Combat Sambo rules for adults and Combat Sambo Light rules for Juniors removing ALL strikes to the head are removed for JUNIORS and removing Elbows and Headbutts completely. Other than that, FIAS Combat Sambo rules will be followed.
No submission holds will be allowed for those aged under 12.

ALL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED. YOU MUST HAVE FULL ACCESS TO BOTH FULL SETS OF SAMBO KIT
Required Equipment/Uniform:
Sambo Shorts
Sambo Kurtka
Sambo Boots
Mouthguard
Groin Guard
Shinpads
4 oz Sambo Gloves / MMA Gloves
GI Bottoms will not be allowed. Rashguards and Spats will be allowed for Juniors at the discretion of the officials.
WRESTLING AND BOXING BOOTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. SAMBO BOOTS REQUIRED
Junior Weight Categories will be matched on the day based on information provided and weigh in weights.
Juniors are most commonly matched by Age then Weight however under special circustances this may change.
Adult Weight Categories will be as per standard Sambo weights.
Male 58kg, 64kg, 71kg, 79kg, 88kg, -98kg, +98kg
Female 50 kg, 59 kg, 54 kg, 65 kg, 72 kg, -80 kg, +80 kg
Weights may be merged in smaller categories.
Refunds will not be provided. You may change your category up until the final registration date.
