About this Event
These beautiful and energetic creatures are seen swimming around our ponds but we will be taking a closer look at these little beings and how to identify them.
Warning - this does involve taking specimens to identify under a microscope.
Embrace your wild side - what to expect:
Join our experienced staff member Jim on this wonderful course exploring wildlfower identification through practical, on site learning using keys and sharing of knowledge.
We will provide some wildflower key books but if you would like to bring your own, we recommend The Wildflower Key by Francis Rose.
What to bring/wear
This is an outdoor activity so please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.
You may wish to bring a camera and notebook.
Toilets and catering
Toilets available in the visitor centre and the education centre for this event. Please feel free to bring a packed lunch or make your way to the cafe after the event is finished. We will provide light refreshments during the event.

Please sign in at the visitor centre and wait for the event leader there.
