About this Event

At this meet-up we would like you to each bring an object that brings you joy, so that we can collectively create still life drawing compositions, while mingling with fellow illustrators and enjoying a drink at the newly opened pub, .

We'll kick off the illustrators meet-up by getting a drink and heading upstairs at Dead Wax Social Norwich Pub. Please make sure to remember to bring an object that brings you joy, this can be anything from kitchen utensils, fruit, figurines, etc. and your preferred art supplies.

We will sit in small groups and create a composition with our objects and there will be some guided still life drawing exercises. We will then encourage you to take your object, and join a new table to create a new composition and meet new people.

It will be an evening to catch up, share our sketchbooks, talk about current projects and make new connections.

Note: Please ensure to bring your object and your own sketchbooks and any drawing materials you may need. Digital drawing tablets are also welcome :)

Crisscross is the Norwich AOI meet-up group. Their focus is to bring together the creative community through fun workshops, supportive business and financial sessions, networking opportunities and a whole lot of drawing! Hosted by illustrator and printmaker Julia Tray.

As this meet-up will be held in a first floor location, that is only accessible by stairs, it is sadly not wheelchair accessible.
