Welcome to Record Club!

If you enjoy sharing and talking about the music that means the most to you with other music fans, why not come along record club, hosted by Reel Connections CIC at the American Library. Each month we choose and listen to a classic American album (on vinyl), before discussing the record together.Meetings are facilitated by a member of our team, and after a short introduction we’ll drop the needle onto track one and savor the first side of the record. At the end of side one we can take a few minutes to share any initial reactions before turning the record over. When the album finishes, we’ll encourage people to grab a tea or a coffee before we reconvene to discuss the merits of the album whilst having a listen to any other relevant songs along the way.Music is something that is close to all our hearts, and we positively encourage lively debate at our meetings, whilst keeping meetings relaxed, friendly and welcoming for everyone.
