BRIGHTON DUB CLUB IS BACK AT THE KOMEDIAGet your monthly medicine of Roots & Culture played on an handcrafted heavyweight sound system. We are up for a treat for this one with as a very special guest Shere Khan Sound ft. Ras Terry Gad.
### SHERE KHAN SOUND ###
Shere Khan is a selector based in London who has been on the roots and culture circuit since 2012, playing all over the UK and Europe. Shere Khan has his own sound system which has been circulating all over the country and played with the likes of Iration Steppas, Jah Tubby’s, Roots Injection, Lord Ambassador, Higher Meditation and many more. All in just 2.5 years. The Jungle Cat has also been playing on London’s LIFE FM Radio for 10 years and continues to circulate his style of deep roots and steps to the listeners. Shere Khan also has a record label, which is now in it’s 8th release chapter and is a member of the legendary Dub Vendor team.
Coming from the Channel One Sound System family, Shere Khan has studiously learnt his craft through the inspiration of his mentors. He will be accompanied on the night by Ras Terry Gad, veteran of over 40 years of sound system culture. Formerly of Jah Trinity, Ras Terry Gad will be bringing his brand of uplifting mic chanting to the people of Brighton.
### DENDE SOUND ###
Based in Brighton - UK, Dende Sound is a lovingly crafted, custom-built heavyweight Sound System inspired by a long tradition of Jamaican and UK Sound Systems.Dende Sound has been putting on regular dances hosting visiting crews representing the best in Reggae and Dub and became a cornerstone on the UK sound systen scene. They played alongside many artists and crews all over UK (Maasai Warrior, Jah Youth, Brother Culture, Rebel Lion, Roots Youth Records, Earthquake, Emperor DT, Nomadix, Jonah Dan...to name a few) and are always up to play and share their high energy and their roots, dub and dubplates selection. They also created their record label (Dende Sound Records) in 2020.
In 2022, founding member Edi Yoyo started bringing boxes and amps in Gambia to set up Dende Sound System International in Gambia, working with local artists and empowering the youth. They put weekly dances every sunday at lamin lodge (near Banjul) that ate gonig from strenght to strength.
Bambaman and MC Trooper will represent for this dance as Edi Yoyo will be back in Gambia.

Dave's Urban Bags will have a stall with a selection of hats, T-shirts and crafts.
This is set to be another uplifting night of bass, mids and tops rumbling the building and healing our souls.
