Step into the flavors of the sunny Mediterranean with food writer and chef instructor Shawnie Kelley in this hands-on culinary experience. Celebrate the season with dishes that awaken the senses—zesty citrus, tender vegetables, briny olives, and aromatic herbs—coming together through time-honored Italian techniques.

On the menu, you’ll roast Lemon Grove Chicken infused with olives, capers, and bright Mediterranean herbs; craft an Spring Vegetable and Grain Salad inspired by traditional Italian Vignarola and Garmugia (seasonal vegetable soups), where tender vegetables and hearty grains reflect centuries of seasonal cooking wisdom; and bake a Orange Ricotta Cake with Mascarpone Cream, a delicate, fragrant dessert that bursts with freshness.Through hands-on instruction, you’ll learn how to balance flavors and textures, build depth in simple ingredients, and plate with elegance. This class transforms seasonal produce into a vibrant, Italian-inspired, cohesive meal that captures the essence of the Mediterranean —bright, fresh, and unforgettable.

What to Expect:
Classes are limited to 16 students for an intimate, hands-on experience. Participants will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class, so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and long pants, and tie back long hair. Aprons are provided.

Age Requirement: Open to ages 15 and up.
