About this Event

“Bridges” is an intergenerational arts collective program that brings together youth (ages 12–16) and older adults (ages 55+) to collaboratively create, produce, and perform original works through theater and multimedia art.

Through a structured series of workshops, participants will co-develop plays, monologues, visual storytelling pieces, and short films inspired by Harlem’s history, present realities, and imagined futures.

During our five week Summer Intensive, our theme "Trending Through Time" will explore how music, fashion, language, activism, and culture evolve across generations. Participants will develop an original multimedia performance featuring:

• Original spoken-word
• Collaborative songwriting
• Music production
• Digital storytelling and podcasting
• Photography

Run: 5 weeks, Tuesdays & Thursdays, July 21st- August 13th, 12pm-5:30pm
