About this Event
SPIKE™ Prime After‑School Program
Robotics, Coding and Creative Engineering for Young Innovators
The SPIKE™ Prime After‑School Program is a hands‑on robotics and coding experience built around the official LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime system. Students explore real engineering concepts, learn block‑based coding, and develop practical problem‑solving skills through structured, project‑based challenges.
What Students Do
- Build functional robots using motors, sensors and modular LEGO elements, following the same progression used in SPIKE Prime training lessons.
- Learn to code using the SPIKE app’s block‑based environment, gradually increasing complexity as their confidence grows.
- Complete design and engineering challenges inspired by LEGO Education’s classroom units, encouraging creativity, iteration and teamwork.
- Test, analyse and refine their builds to understand how real engineers approach problem‑solving.
