Brewing Brighter Futures

Safe Passages is hosting the "Brewing Brighter Futures: A Back to School Coffee & Tea Fundraiser," an evening coffee and tea tasting, dedicated to building brighter futures for Oakland's youth. This event will bring together community leaders and dedicated supporters for a special evening, held for the first time inside our new Wellness & Prevention Center.

As students settle into the new school year, the support provided by Safe Passages is more critical than ever. This fundraiser directly supports our community development programs and schooling services at Oakland Unified School District, ensuring we can continue creating stable and empowering environments for Oakland's students to thrive.

This coffee & tea tasting experience offers more than just an opportunity to enjoy rich flavors. Safe Passages is proud to partner with local businesses to bring guests a unique tasting journey. Guests will also be treated to live performances from our partner schools and community members—showcasing the creativity and resilience of the youth and families we serve. Attendees will have the unique honor of being among the first to celebrate in our new Wellness Center, a space designed to provide comprehensive support and connection for our community. It’s a chance to witness the direct impact of our work while investing in the future of our programs!

The event will be held on Friday, October 17th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Guests will be welcomed to a very special location: Safe Passage's new Wellness & Prevention Center, located at 1017 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94607.
