This is an event of the Brentwood Arts Cinema Club. A limited number of places exist for guests to join existing club members for a screening of this internationally acclaimed film on Sunday, 21st September at 7.30pm (doors open at 7.00pm) at the Friends Meeting House, 49 Hutton Road, Shenfield CM15 8NF. Set in 1981 this tells the story of a young girl, Cáit, sent away for the summer from her dysfunctional family to live with ‘her mother’s people,’ whom she has never met.
