Breathwork Journey - Connect and Breathe with Ash

Join us every Sunday. Connect with like minded individuals through connection activities, sharing circles and experience a breathwork session which involves slow and deep breathing techniques that activate the parasympathetic nervous system allowing down-regulation, reduction of stress, anxiety and tension to connect with yourself again and ultimately come back to a state of balance.

Additionally, learn the science and highly effective techniques to integrate into daily life to ensure that you are breathing optimally to reduce physical, mental and emotional health issues.

No prior experience required. Suitable for beginners and advanced breathers.

Breathwork has been a catalyst in Ash’s journey, personal development and growth; an anchor in times of the most need with immediate effects when nothing else was working. Now, Ash passionately shares the gift of breathwork with others and empowers them to transform their lives.

• Avoid coffee, alcohol and stimulants 4-5 hours prior to the event.
• Avoid eating food at least 1.5 hours prior to the event.
• Wear comfortable clothing.
• Eye pillow (optional).
• Water bottle.
• Journal and pen (optional).
• Open mind and open heart.
  

Yoga mats, cushions, bolsters and blankets will be provided.

There is free parking in the surrounding streets.

Breathwork is not suitable for every individual. Some contraindications include but are not limited to pregnancy, high blood pressure not controlled by Medic*tion, cardiovascular disease, detached retina, glaucoma, aneurysm in the brain or abdomen, uncontrolled thyroid conditions and diabetes, asthma (you can bring an inhaler), epilepsy, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition, hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis.

If you have any psychiatric, medical or physical condition that can be influenced by intense breathing techniques, please consult a healthcare professional prior to participating in the session.
