Breastfeeding 101 Workshop

Welcoming a baby is beautiful, but those first days and weeks can feel overwhelming when you don’t know what to expect.
That’s why Woven Light’s pediatric chiropractic team and Certified Lactation Counselor & Postpartum Doula, Annie Steffa Guevara, are teaming up to guide South Bay families through the early postpartum period with compassion, clarity, and hands-on support.

This warm, in-person workshop will walk you through what to expect day-by-day after your baby is born, including how feeding, newborn behavior, and your own recovery naturally unfold. You’ll learn the essentials of breastfeeding and how your baby’s body and nervous system play a role in latch, comfort, digestion, and overall feeding ease.

• Milk supply: what’s normal and what’s not
• The first 100 hours
• How partners can support
• When to reach out for help

• How birth affects your baby’s body
• Why some babies prefer one side, fuss at the breast, or struggle with latch

• Gentle ways to support your baby’s comfort, feeding, and regulation
