Bread and Zucchini: a Harvest Celebration

Join us on Saturday, August 1 at 3pm in the West Asheville Park (at the end of Vermont Ave) for a jolly celebration of the harvest and of the Goddess Tailtui. This is a ceremony of gathering-in as we welcome the gifts of shelf-stable food for Mother Grove’s food pantry. There will be poetry and dance and plenty of honoring our wonderful community as the harvest season rolls in. Please bring your contributions for the pantry (we often need proteins like peanut butter and tuna, and appreciate single serving cans with pop-tops for our homeless friends) as well as a dish to share in our after-ritual feast. It is helpful if you bring your feasting gear so we can move away from disposable plates and cutlery.
