Brats, Blankets & Bear Hugs: A Delicious Way to Make a Difference!

Join the Hugs From Hunter Foundation on Sunday September 14 at Festival Foods on State Road for our annual Brat Barn Fundraiser! We’ll be firing up the grill from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and trust us—your taste buds (and your heart) won’t want to miss this.

We’re serving up mouthwatering Oktoberfest bratwursts all day long and here’s the best part: every brat you bite into helps us bring comfort to kids in crisis. Proceeds from the day go toward providing teddy bears and cozy blankets to hospitalized children at Gundersen Health System.

It might sound simple but when you're a kid facing needles machines and long hospital stays a soft blanket or snuggly bear can feel like a superhero cape. It's a hug when they need it most—and that’s what we’re all about.

The Hugs From Hunter Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was created in memory of Hunter a boy whose big heart and kind spirit continue to inspire love comfort and care for kids in need. With your help we’re spreading those hugs far and wide—one brat one bear one blanket at a time. So come hungry bring your friends and make it a Sunday Funday with purpose.
