Brass Blast | Winter 2026

A 3-Day Intensive Brass Workshop for all brass musicians of all ages.
Whether you’re a brass band member preparing for contest or an orchestral player wanting to level up, Brass Blast will improve your playing through dynamic workshops, masterclasses, and ensemble playing.
Learn from industry professionals Alex Morton, Ryan Peni, and Tyme Marsters as you build the ability to perform with power, confidence, and focus.
– Develop quality fundamental brass skills with expert guidance
– Learn techniques to build confidence and focus for performance
– Gain the ability to play with beauty, blend, and balance playing alongside seasoned professionals.
To maximise the learning experience, students will be grouped by ability (beginner, intermediate, advanced) rather than by instrument. This approach offers several key benefits:
– Focused Learning: Tutors will tailor sessions to the specific needs of each level.
– Diverse Perspectives: Students receive input and coaching from a variety of professional tutors, not just a specialist on their own instrument.
– Flexibility: Ensures a high-quality program regardless of the final mix of instruments.
