Just sitting down to concentrate on plans for Brand License Europe. There are changes at BLE. They have yet to get it right for Art and Design. They have changed the name ofthe area to Design & Discovery , I think them to allow small new exhibitors ( non- Art) into the area of smaller stands.
I have been speaking and contacting artists, agents and practices like SKew that are tryingto speak up for creatives working inside licensing companies.
Our theme of The Gift for next year is an opportunity to promote that importance of creative talent in the industry. Gifts and licensing industries rely on adding a message or story to a standard product. those stories come from creative individuals working individually authors and artists ....as part of creative teams in films or creative industries - past and present.
