BPOC YOGA LINK: Our Roots & Leaves! Join us for an enlightening in-person evening retreat at The Yoga Space London celebrating our one year anniversary. This gathering is all about connecting with our roots and exploring the growth of our practice and life on and off the mat. Come together with like-minded individuals to dive deep into the essence of yoga. Let's breathe, stretch, and flow as we honor where we come from and where we are heading. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to cultivate a sense of community and belonging.

BPOC Yoga Connect brings black, brown and people of colour together to learn, move and connect through yoga, creating room for exploration, self-development and community. Hosted by yoga teacher Shay. Sessions welcome all BPOC yogis, those who may be at the beginning of their yoga journey and/or individuals who want to delve deeper into their practice and build a community together.

Structure of the retreat:

16:00 - 16:15 Arrivals and welcomes

16:15 - 17:00 Meditation and Journalling with Katie @beinghumanwell

Break

17:15 - 18:15 Ashtanga Yoga with Kevin @Yogafusion_kevin

18:15 - 19:15 Sound healing with Georgie @soularspace_

19:15 onward Food, drinks and time to connect.

Tickets also include a free goody bag.

About the host: Shay Uwaibi (instagram: @coffeeskinyogini) is a yoga teacher of Nigerian heritage, who aims to empower students to explore their inner truth. Creating a safe space for all to come as they are, to know they are welcome and to be curious of what they may discover about themselves... and also have some fun with it!

Please bring comfortable clothing. Mats and props will be provided.
