Boy Scout Flag Retirement Ceremony

The solemn ceremony involves Scouts honoring the flag’s symbolism by respectively burning the flags (if made of cotton or wool) or other methods of disposal. During the event, taps and a gun salute will take place.
Anyone wishing to dispose of worn or damaged American flags are encourage to bring them to the event.
Along with hundreds of antique farm machinery, the Antique Engine and Tractor Show features daily entertainment, a large outdoor flea market, antique tractor pulls, kids activities and more. Admission is $10 per person with children 12 and under free. Admission specials include Senior Citizen Day on Thursday with admission reduced to $5 for 62 and older, and the Sunday Special when admission is $5 for everyone. Gates open at 8 a.m.
