South Kesteven Walking Festival event:Distance: Half a mile - 1.5miles, depending on who attends and their mobility needs. We will often take half a group on a shorter walk and the other half on a longer walk, then meet at the cafe
We meet at Bourne Bus Station every Thursday for 1:30pm, and go on a gentle amble around the village, taking different routes each week and (weather dependent) walks through the woods and park are very much enjoyed.
This walk is ideal for anyone who is looking to get back to fitness, has less mobility, may have to use walking aids, or just want a gentle stroll.
It is a mixed group of men and women of different ages from mid 50s to 80s and has become a friendship group with lots of new connections and friendships being made. The walk is FREE, you just purchase your own drinks at the cafe.
We end our walk by having a chat and cuppa at The Ginger Fox Cafe.
