Bound By Sound

Bound by Sound was born from the body, from an experience of surrender many don’t realise is possible.

The first experience of Shibari can bring a profound softening of the nervous system. With each moment, deeper stillness, safety, and release unfold. The rope holds the body so the mind can soften, allowing awareness to slip beyond constant thinking.

Sound meets the body differently. It moves through the nervous system, shifting attention and guiding awareness inward. Together, rope and sound guide the body into surrender. Bringing these two practices together feels natural and deeply complementary.

Bound by Sound is a guided ritual combining Shibari and sound healing.

This is not intentionally sexual.
This is not a performance.

Whatever is alive in you, emotion, sensation, thought, is yours to feel.

It is an invitation to soften, surrender, and be held fully in your own body.

The space is prepared with care. Low light. Candlelight. Warmth. Softness beneath you. A sense of stepping out of the everyday and into something intentional.

The evening begins slowly, sharing cacao, talking, arriving together. Nothing rushed. The ritual begins with connection.

Participants are bound by experienced Shibari practitioners and supported throughout. Time is taken, as much as needed, to help the body settle into comfort with blankets, bolsters, cushions, and optional blindfolds.

From that stillness, the sound journey begins, allowing the body to rest as attention gently turns inward.
