Join family- and women-owned slow fashion clothing line Kasiopya for a Botanical Printing Workshop on Tuesday October 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the newly renovated Hotel Continental a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in Miami Beach’s vibrant Mid-Beach district. Guests will enjoy a welcome glass of prosecco savory small bites and a creative session where they will utilize locally grown and foraged plants to botanically print their own silk tote bag or table square. Guests will choose their botanical materials learning about each plant’s unique properties how to prepare and arrange them on the silk and finally bundle wrapping the item. The event will be held in the hotel’s vintage-inspired Mixer and Divebar lively spaces featuring curated art custom furnishings and a self-pour beverage wall. Tickets are $65 and complimentary valet parking will be available for the first 15-20 guests.
