Botanical Dyeing and Eco Printing with Herbalist Meaghan Thompson-Moore

In this hands on workshop we will work with plants to create beautiful hand dyed and eco printed fabrics. We will explore the various types of fabrics that work well with natural dyes, various methods (mordants) of prepping fabric for dyeing, different plants that can be grown or harvested, and some various techniques to transfer dyes and prints from the plants to the fabric. Participants will have the chance to put to action what they have learned and craft their own botanical dyed creations to take home with them. This is a fun event for the whole family!
