Nature’s Palette: A Mindful Art Experience

Discover the beauty of natural creativity in this immersive workshop for caregivers and children at JK Community Farms. Using fruits, vegetables, and foraged materials, you’ll craft vibrant paints and handmade paintbrushes straight from nature.

We’ll explore mindfulness, gratitude, and connection to the earth, guided by the PLANT framework, as we create meaningful art together—including a collaborative community painting symbolizing growth and appreciation.

Taught by Sharon Hallman, professional photographer, artist, PLANT ambassador and founder of The Imaginarium, a nature-based imaginative playscape for children and their caregivers based in Northern VA. Sharon weaves her love and awe of all things nature, alchemy and getting her hands dirty with her passion for instigating curiosity about the magic that exists in nature’s gifts when reimagined through a different lens.
