Immerse yourself in the calming and expressive world of nature-inspired art, where organic forms, soft colour palettes, and personal interpretation come together.

Inspired by the work of Georgia O Keeffe and Emily Carr, this workshop explores how artists translate the essence of flowers, plants, and landscapes into bold, emotional, and often abstract compositions. From O’Keeffe’s close-up florals to Carr’s expressive forests, nature becomes a powerful source of creativity.

Led by professional artist Kate Medvedok, this session offers a relaxed, supportive atmosphere in a small group (up to 12 participants), allowing for personal guidance and exploration.

• Insights into botanical art from modern and Canadian perspectives
• How to simplify and stylize natural forms
• Working with colour, composition, and mood inspired by nature
• Step-by-step guidance with space for experimentation

You’ll create your own nature-inspired artwork using acrylics on canvas, exploring both delicate and expressive approaches.

All materials are provided, including paints, brushes, and canvas.

No experience is needed—just curiosity and a love for nature.
