As part of Wells’ 100th Anniversary celebration this year, we invite you to a review and discussion of the landmark book Born of Conviction - White Methodists and Mississippi’s Closed Society by Joseph T. Reiff. This powerful work explores a timely and enduring question: When is the Church called to confront injustice and speak with courage in the face of societal wrongs?We hope you will be part of this meaningful conversation as we reflect on our history and consider our witness today.
The discussion will be held over 4 weeks from 5:45 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at Wells in the Tonkel Fellowship Hall.
