Boonanza

Boonanza is our post-Title 1 Night fall festival, and it runs on parent volunteers. We need people to sign up for game booths, donate prizes and be there to help out. Also come in a literature-themed costume and enter the family costume contest!
If you'd like to run a booth, these are some ideas for games that take very little setup:
Pumpkin ring toss: small pumpkins in a grid and glow bracelets to toss
Pumpkin bowling: a small round pumpkin and 6 to 10 toilet paper rolls or empty water bottles decorated as ghosts
Witch hat ring toss: party-store witch hats and rings
Mummy wrap: kids wrap a partner in toilet paper, fastest team wins
Jack-o'-lantern bean bag toss: a cardboard box with a face cut out
Duck pond: rubber ducks in a kiddie pool, numbered on the bottom, and every duck wins
Feed the monster: a painted cardboard monster with a hole for a mouth and a few balls to throw
We're also collecting prizes. Some ideas:
Glow sticks and glow bracelets
Halloween stickers and temporary tattoos
Spider rings and plastic vampire fangs
Pencils and fun erasers
Mini Play-Doh cans
Bouncy balls
Bookmarks and mini notepads
Slap bracelets
Candy
If you have a stash of any of these in a junk drawer, we'll gladly take them. Just drop them off at the office by Oct. 20.
