Orris the rat lives alone. It is safer that way. But that doesn't mean he isn't ready to "make the good and noble choice" (as his sardine can reminds him). But what if "the good and noble choice" means rescuing Timble the owl from a trap? Surely, he can't be expected to risk his life! Will Orris survive the consequences?Orris and Timble: The Beginning is our Bookworm Barbs book for January. Bookworm Barbs is our book club for students in grades K-2. We read shorter chapter books with lots of pictures. Older first and second grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice family read aloud, too.
Bookworm Barbs is a book party! Not only will we talk about the book, we'll enjoy a snack and do a craft, too.
