Frank Sinatra has been a household name for many decades, and he has gone on to become one of the best-selling musical artists in the world. He has sold an estimated 150 million records over the course of his career and has been given the nicknames “The Voice”, “Ol’ Blue Eyes”, “Chairman of the Board” and “The Sultan of Swoon”.He has starred in a vast variety of motion pictures, including: “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” “Double Dynamite,” “Young at Heart,” “From Here to Eternity” and “Meet Me in Las Vegas.”
During this program we will discuss many of Frank Sinatra’s best-known musical and cinematic achievements, with listening and viewing examples from each respective category.
