Books to Movies - Batemans Bay Library

When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and en-route they meet a Scarecrow that needs a brain, a Tin Man missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West to earn his help.

Enjoy the film and some light refreshments. Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot advertise the movie name. Ask our friendly library staff for more information.

• Your attendance at events supported by Eurobodalla Libraries may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council’s websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
• Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. During an event a child’s parent or guardian must remain on the library premises but does not have to be in the event space.
• Bookings are essential and spaces are limited.

Cancellations

• Our events often book out. If you are unable to attend, please let us know before the event so we can allocate your spot to another person.
• Occasionally, we need to cancel an event due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel an event you will be notified via email or telephone.
