Have you been thinking about getting up and playing a song? Maybe you’ve got an original tucked away, a favourite cover you’ve been working on, or perhaps you just want to be part of a great night of live music and community.
Join hosts @alex.clarkmusic and @robbie_shoals for Racket at the Packet, our monthly open mic night @steampacket_nelligen
Held on the last Thursday of every month from 5:30pm–8:30pm, our goal is simple: create more opportunities for people to experience live music, connect with others and have a go in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Whether you regularly perform to hundreds, are just starting out, or your current audience is the bedroom wall, this stage is for you.
Bring along something you’ve written, a song you love, or simply come down to listen, cheer people on and enjoy the atmosphere. Grab a pizza, order a cold drink and become part of the bar choir!
