Join us for a cozy evening learning the basics of mahjong, taught by Simply Mahjong—a local Powell mother-daughter duo ready to introduce you to the game we can almost guarantee you’ll be obsessed with!

All mahjong supplies will be provided, so just bring yourself and a friend. Before the lesson, enjoy snacks, sips, and shopping the bookstore’s endless selection of wonderful reads—so you can head into fall with a new favorite game and a great book to cozy up with.
