Books and Brews

DC bookstagrammer Morgan Menzies (@prettylittlebookshelf) has joined forces with Politics & Prose Bookstore and Arlington Beer Garden for an afternoon of brews, a blind date with a book, and some literary trivia!

When: November 10 at 1pm

Where: Arlington Beer Garden, 3217 10th St N, Arlington, VA 22201

Tickets are $35 and include a beer and a blind date with a book, or $40 for a fight and a blind date with a book.

So…what exactly is a blind date with a book? The Politics & Prose team will choose a mix of books to wrap – on the wrapping paper, each book will include a short note about genre, plot, tropes, and other hints to help you get a sense of the book. You can browse the notes, and then pick the book that you think suits you best.

Come and mingle, talk books, and sip some beer!
