BookPeople Presents: Kristen Witte-The Children's Illustrated Book of Tarot

Please welcome Kristen Witte in a special storytime to celebrate The Children's Illustrated Book of Tarot!

This event is free and open to the public.

• Start time: 10:30 A.M.
• Location: The second floor of BookPeople.

The author will be signing and personalizing copies of the book after the storytime portion of the event.

• To get a book signed, a copy of the event book or an item of equal value must be purchased from BookPeople.

Children can participate in their own personal tarot reading and reflection with the author, as well as enjoy an interactive activity table with coloring pages inspired by the book.

• Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the author:

Kristen Witte is a former elementary school teacher and current Tarot enthusiast. Always on the lookout for social-emotional learning tools for both herself and others, she stumbled upon a deck of Tarot cards and hasn’t looked back. She believes the tool can help create an ongoing discourse between children and their caretakers about mental health, processing emotions, and approaching each day as a learning opportunity.Kristen leads community relations for tech companies by day, and dreams up more book ideas by night.
