About the book:
After a school assignment challenges Dex to be whatever he wants, Dex decides he wants to be the WORLD’S BEST GREATEST EVER…at something. Filled with clever humor and touching insight, this chapter book graphic novel series follows Dex’s misadventures as his attempts at the “coolest jobs” go awry.
With the whole “inventor” debacle behind him, Dex decides to try being the next best thing: an archaeologist! Dex knows that archaeologists make discoveries that help solve mysteries about ancient people. So if he’s going to be the GREATEST archaeologist, he’ll need to solve the BIGGEST mystery by making the COOLEST discovery EVER.
Dex, his best friend, Buckley, and Nono the rogue nanobot head back to the Infinity Room and venture through a doorway to the desert to find the lost treasure of the Forgotten Dino-sty. Together, the trio decodes riddles, navigates mazes, and finds a reward beyond their wildest dreams. But they soon learn that all that glitters isn’t gold when they face the wrath of an angry mummy. It’ll take teamwork and the help of a new friend if Dex is going to make it out of the desert and become the WORLD’S BEST GREATEST EVER ARCHAEOLOGIST.
