Participants' Prerequisites: None! All the workshop materials will be provided for and participants will get to bring home the products that they have made during the workshop. For the paper aficionados, we'll be using a mix of Maple White & SIRO 80 for the workshop.

Participants will be guided through the process of mastering two unique binding techniques: the Accordion Fold and the 3-way Flag Book Bind. These methods offer endless possibilities for storytelling and artistic expression, creating books that unfold and expand in unexpected ways. Whether you're an artist, writer, or simply curious, this workshop provides a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every bound page, combining tradition with innovation.

Alvin Ng is a Southeast Asian photographic artist and educator based in Singapore.
