Make your own sketchbook & enjoy a playful day of creativityJoin artist and friendly tutor Lichen Davenport for a relaxed, hands‑on workshop making a sketchbook and experimenting with mixed media.
You’ll start by creating your own sketchbook using recycled and reclaimed papers, then fill it with playful mark‑making, colour, texture and collage. This workshop is all about exploring, trying things out and enjoying the process, no pressure and no “right” way to work.
Who is this workshop for?
Perfect for complete beginners and experienced makers alike. If you’re curious, creative (or just want to be), and enjoy learning in a calm, informal setting, you’re very welcome.
What you’ll need:
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring along special papers, photos, postcards or an A4‑sized cover to make your sketchbook truly your own.
You’ll leave with a handmade sketchbook full of ideas — and plenty of inspiration to keep creating.
