Book Speed Dating

We all know that finding a match is a struggle these days. And who has the time, money, or energy for another DNF (Did Not Finish)?

Then let us be your wingman! Join us at our Book Speed Dating event on Saturday July 25, 2026 from 1p - 3p at the Mary C. in Ocean Springs.

This event is for ages 12+. Price of admission is $20 and includes going home with one of your matches.

How it works:

1. There will be various books set out on tables. Each table will have a different genre(s). You will pick a table to sit at.

2. You'll have 1 minute to select a book.

3. Spend 10 minutes with your match. There will be rating sheets provide so that you can keep track of your selections. That completes a round!

4. Take 2 minutes to find a new table to sit at and select a book.

We'll go for about 4 rounds. We want to make sure you go home with something that day!

Afterwards we'll play a couple rounds of book bingo and give away some prizes
