Join us for the book launch of 'Religion in Diverse Societies: Crossing the Boundaries of Prejudice and Distrust'.
About this Event

There will be a lively panel discussion about the ways in which religion contributes to creating tension in diverse societies but can also serve as a way to cross the boundaries of prejudice and distrust.
On the panel will be the book’s editors Professor Pauline Kollontai (York St John and Wesley House Cambridge) and Dr Sue Yore (York St John). They will be joined by three of the contributors Dr Richard Davis (Wesley House Cambridge), Dr Mark Dawson (York St John) and Dr Ayla Gol (York St John).
The panel discussion will run from 4pm to 5.15pm. This will be followed by a drinks reception until 6pm.
The event is free to attend but booking is essential.
The book 'Religion in Diverse Societies: Crossing the Boundaries of Prejudice and Distrust' contributes to existing cutting-edge research on the constructive way in which religion can support the promotion of respect, dignity, and justice for all people, considered as essential features in shaping sustainable, diverse, and peaceful societies.
