About Troy Randall
Troy Randall, a native Floridian and U.S. Navy Veteran, has spent more than three decades cultivating a life in harmony with plants. From his early years of growing up in Florida’s state parks to a career in horticulture spanning contract growing, greenhouse management, propagation, seed germination, and landscape design, Troy has always been guided by a deep reverence for nature. Today, he serves as Sales Manager at a large wholesale palm and bamboo farm on Pine Island in Southwest Florida, where his passion continues to flourish.
Troy first encountered bonsai in 1997 while living in Washington State, and the discovery sparked a devotion that has endured for over 17 years. To him, bonsai is more than an art form-it is a meditation, a discipline, and a living dialogue between artist and tree. Each creation reflects foresight, patience, and care, qualities that echo throughout his journey in horticulture. A member of the Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida and the Bonsai Societies of Florida, Troy shares his artistry with a community as rooted and enduring as the trees he tends.
This event will take place onsite at Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens on The Pergola.
